The HI765A is an air and gas thermistor probe with a handle designed for use with a thermistor thermometer. A cable extends from the handle to the meter connection. The vent holes at the tip of the probe allow users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of air and gases. The HI765 series of thermistor probes is pre-calibrated with a maximum error of ±0.2℃ (±0.4℉), so recalibration isn’t necessary when probes are interchanged.
The Air and Gas Thermistor Probe with Handle – HI765A is designed to measure the temperature of air and gas samples. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the sample being measured. The HI765A construction with vent holes located at the tip of the probe offers an 8-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, AISI 316 stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure samples up to 150℃ (302℉).
