A horticulturists’s friend, the HI981412 pH Controller and Dosing Pump system is engineered to maintain the pH of nutrient solutions and irrigation water. Simply insert the probe and injection valve in-line with the recirculation pump and provide the chemical to be dosed.
The powerful built-in peristaltic pump uses a stepper motor which does not have any gears or brushes, for a long life with minimal maintenance.
The peristaltic dosing pump is controlled by a simple on/off option, or through an advanced proportional control to help prevent overshooting the set point.
The dosing pump flow rate is adjustable from 0.5 to 3.5L/h, to better maintain a desired set point.
A connection to an optional level controller or flow switch that can be used to disable the dosing pump when the chemical reservoir tank is empty or there is no flow when the pump is turned off.
A multi-colored LCD shows the status of the controller. The display is green during normal operation or red if an alarm is triggered.
The Quick Connect DIN connector creates a waterproof seal with the meter, reducing electrical noise issues with the connection caused by humid environments.
The HI981412 uses the HI10063 amplified probe that incorporates both pH and temperature sensors and connects to the controller with a single waterproof Quick Connect DIN connector.
